An easy, shady walk along the Dobra river, among ash, alder and willow, past pools and small waterfalls of a turquoise that is hard to believe. It is about two and a half kilometres each way, almost without climbing.
At the end is the Olla itself: a large pool up to five metres deep surrounded by white rock, where a swim in summer is almost compulsory. From the meadow above you can see all of it.

Getting there
By car
Just over an hour from the house, towards Cangas de Onís. Small car park on the N-625, near Tornín.
Before you go
- Fine for small children, but not for pushchairs: take a baby carrier.
- There are rocky and damp stretches. Wear shoes with grip.
- The water is cold even in August.
