A small cove of pale sand sheltered on both sides by islets, so the open sea stays outside and the water inside is still. The regional tourist board rates it as low risk for swimming, which is not the norm on this coast.
That is why it is the family beach of the east: lifeguards every day from June to early September, an access ramp, showers, toilets, somewhere to eat and the car parked next to it.

Getting there
By car
An hour and ten minutes from the house, on the motorway towards Llanes. Car park next to the beach.
Before you go
- It is only about 250 metres of sand: in July and August it fills up early.
- San Antolín is five minutes away and is the opposite: open, huge and not for swimming. You can see both in one morning.
