Playa de Torimbia
Half a dayOn foot

Playa de Torimbia

A perfect crescent of pale sand between two green headlands, with no promenade, no buildings and no road down to it. You see the whole of it from the viewpoint above, which is where almost everyone stops first.

Below there are more than five hundred metres of fine sand, dunes and a stream that comes out at one end. In summer there is a lifeguard service and usually a beach bar; the rest of the year it is just the sea.

A little history

Torimbia has been for decades one of the emblematic nudist beaches of Asturias: it was one of the first, and that free spirit is part of its fame, even though today both coexist without any problem.
